Job Summary 


The Sales Officer will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, maintaining strong relationships with clients, and promoting the company’s products and services. The role requires identifying potential clients, understanding their requirements, and providing suitable solutions while ensuring excellent after-sales support. 

 

Key Responsibilities 


1.Lead Generation 

  • Identify and generate new potential leads through market research, networking, and field visits. 
  • Approach prospective clients and introduce the company’s products and services. 
  • Maintain a database of potential and existing customers. 


2.Client Relationship & PR Management 

  • Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders. 
  • Represent the company in meetings, events, and client interactions. 
  • Ensure positive brand image and customer satisfaction. 


3.Sales & Business Development 

  • Present and demonstrate company products and services to potential clients. 
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to company revenue growth. 
  • Follow up on leads and convert them into successful sales. 


4.Client Requirement Analysis 

  • Gather and understand client requirements in detail. 
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis to ensure company products meet client needs. 
  • Coordinate with the technical team to provide customized solutions when required. 


5.After-Sales Service 

  • Ensure smooth onboarding and implementation of products/services for clients. 
  • Provide continuous support and follow-up after sales. 
  • Address client issues and coordinate with internal teams for quick resolution. 


6.Upselling & Cross-Selling 

  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services. 
  • Inform clients about new products, upgrades, or additional features. 


7.Market Intelligence 

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. 
  • Provide feedback to management for improving products and sales strategies. 


8.Reporting 

  • Prepare regular sales reports and updates on lead generation activities. 
  • Maintain proper documentation of client interactions and sales progress 

  

Required Qualifications 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. 
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in sales, or business development

 

Preferred Skills 


  • Strong communication and negotiation skills. 
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships. 
  • Basic understanding of IT products, software solutions, or technology services (preferred). 
  • Good presentation and proposal preparation skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and achieve sales targets. 
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
