Company Description: 

We are a leading Chargepoint Operator in the electric vehicle (EV) charging industry, committed to accelerating the adoption of sustainable transportation. We design, deploy, and manage an extensive network of EV charging stations, providing drivers with reliable and convenient charging options. Our mission is to make EV charging accessible, fast, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct technical site surveys to assess the feasibility of implementing EV Charging stations at customer premises. This includes evaluating site conditions, accessibility, power sources, and environmental factors.

• Deal with Site Surveyors in Malaysia to obtain necessary information. 

• To develop the initial technical proposals for the buildings. 

• To figure out the Project’s/site's overall costs (labor, materials, equipment, and permits).

• Gather and document precise site data, including measurements, photographs, and environmental information, ensuring accurate records for future reference. 

• Analyze survey data to identify technical requirements and constraints, such as equipment placement, antenna configurations, and cabling needs 

• Prepare Site Survey Reports, Design documents.

• Ensuring that the electrical infrastructure adheres to government standards and guidelines. 

• Managing projects during the implementation phase. 

• Collaborating with relevant government agencies to ensure compliance with technical requirements. 

• Providing technical support to the Business Development team and sales partners. 

• Liaising with vendors. 

• Identifying and developing innovative solutions to meet customer needs. 

• Hod/Immediate Supervisor's Instructions to be fulfilled.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 

• At least 3-5 years of experience in site surveying and design in the EV, telecommunications, electrical, Energy and Power (Renewable and Traditional), Construction (Building Infrastructure), Transportation Infrastructure or related sector. 

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. 

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities. 

• Excellent verbal, written & Speaking proficiency in English. (mandatory)

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or ETAP.

• Experience with electric vehicle charging infrastructure design and deployment.

• Familiarity with Malaysian electrical regulations and grid standards (e.g., Tenaga Nasional Berhad requirements).

• Demonstrated ability to manage projects from site survey to implementation.

• Knowledge of renewable energy integration (e.g., solar or battery storage) for EV charging systems.

• Prior experience collaborating with vendors and government agencies in Southeast Asia.

• Certification in EV charging technology or electrical safety standards (e.g., IEC 61851, UL 2202).

• Strong understanding of cost estimation and budgeting for infrastructure projects.
