Job Description
Job Purpose:
To conduct market audits across the distribution and retail network to ensure proper stock management, correct implementation of company schemes, timely product availability, and collection of competitive market intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct physical stock verification at distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
2. Ensure FIFO (First in First Out) is followed to minimize expiry and damage.
3. Verify expired and damaged stock and ensure proper reporting.
4. Identify stock bottlenecks or dumping within the distribution chain.
5. Verify that trade schemes and promotions are implemented correctly in the market.
6. Ensure timely retailing and proper availability of products at retail outlets.
7. Monitor competitor pricing, schemes, and market activities.
8. Submit market audit reports highlighting discrepancies, risks, and improvement areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration/ finance, accounting or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in audit, accounts, finance, MIS reporting, sales operations, or distribution management.
- Strong analytical and auditing skills with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of inventory management and FIFO practices.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with distributors and retail partners.
- Willingness to travel frequently for market visits and audits.
- Strong integrity and ethical judgment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
