Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jamal Kathmandu for a Social Media Marketing Manager. The individual in this role will be responsible for creating, managing, and optimizing social media campaigns. Responsibilities include developing content strategies, publishing and engaging with audiences across platforms, analyzing campaign performance, and ensuring alignment with the brand’s voice and identity. Collaboration with the broader marketing and operations team is an essential part of this role to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement.
- Proven experience in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Experience creating and implementing effective content strategies across social media platforms
- Solid understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools
- Familiarity with analytics tools (such as Meta Insights, Google Analytics, or similar) to track and improve social media performance
- Knowledge of Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram Ads), including retargeting strategies and marketing funnels
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging and audience-focused social media content
- Passion for travel and adventure, with knowledge of Nepal’s trekking and tourism landscape preferred
- Ability to train and guide trekking staff/guides on capturing quality photos and videos during trips for social media content
- Experience in content editing or video editing for social media platforms
- Ability to create short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts)
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, or similar editing software
- Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
