Key Responsibilities 

• Monitor day-to-day server health, uptime, performance, and security alerts, ensuring proactive issue resolution. 
• Lead and manage the Database and Server teams, providing technical guidance, prioritization, and performance oversight. 
• Design, review, and optimize high-availability server architectures for production environments. 
• Define scalable infrastructure strategies across on-prem, cloud, and hybrid environments. 
• Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and load-handling strategies. 
• Architect redundancy, disaster recovery, and backup frameworks. 
• Establish and enforce security architecture, patching, IAM, and vulnerability management controls. 
• Standardize deployment workflows using CI/CD, containerization, and automation. 
• Evaluate infrastructure technologies and recommend strategic improvements. 
• Support application, DevOps, and security teams in resolving complex infrastructure issues. 
• Maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, standards, and best practices. 
• Conduct architecture reviews and mentor engineering teams. 
• Ensure cost optimization, monitoring, and observability across all environments. 
• Collaborate with senior leadership on infrastructure roadmap and planning. 

Skills and Tools: 

• Strong expertise with Linux servers, virtualization, and enterprise networking. 
• Experience architecting systems on AWS / Azure / GCP. 
• Hands-on knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. 
• CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions). 
• Monitoring and logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch, New Relic). 
• Strong command of security frameworks and zero-trust principles. 
• Scripting/automation (Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible). 
• Deep understanding of performance tuning, scaling, and failover strategies. 

Qualifications and Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline. 
• 4+ years of progressive experience in infrastructure / system architecture. 
• Proven experience designing high-availability, mission-critical systems. 
• Prior experience leading infrastructure architecture initiatives. 
• Relevant certifications preferred (AWS Solutions Architect, RHCE, CKA, etc.)
