Job Summary:
The Chartered Accountant (CA) will oversee all accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities of Classic Freight Nepal Pvt.Ltd. The role ensures accurate financial records, proper internal controls, and timely reporting to support strategic business decisions. The CA will also guide the company on taxation, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and financial planning.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Financial Management & Accounting
Maintain accurate books of accounts for all company operations
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor and manage cash flow, receipts, and payments
Reconcile accounts and ensure correct ledger maintenance
2. Taxation & Compliance
Ensure timely filing of VAT, Income Tax, and other statutory taxes
Advise on tax planning and regulatory changes
Ensure compliance with Nepal’s Accounting Standards and Company Act
3. Budgeting & Financial Planning
Prepare annual budgets and monitor performance against budgets
Provide financial analysis to support business strategy and decision-making
Assist in cost control and profitability analysis
4. Audit & Internal Controls
Coordinate internal and external audits
Implement and maintain robust internal controls
Ensure all financial processes are transparent, accurate, and compliant
5. Reporting & Advisory
Provide reports to management and board members
Advise on financial strategies, investment decisions, and risk management
Support other departments with financial insights for operational efficiency
Qualifications & Experience:
Chartered Accountant (CA) certified from ICAN or equivalent
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in accounting, auditing, or finance
Experience in supply chain, logistics, or trading companies preferred
Strong knowledge of Nepalese taxation, accounting standards, and financial regulations
Proficient in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
