Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Counselor, based in Kathmandu. The role involves guiding students through the process of applying for higher education abroad. This includes understanding student aspirations, providing insight into educational opportunities, assisting with admission documentation, and offering expert advice for standardized test preparation, visa procedures, and other requirements. The Counselor will support students at every step to ease their study abroad journey and ensure successful enrollment in institutions abroad.
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for counseling and client relations.
- Knowledge of educational systems and processes for countries such as the UK, USA, Australia, UAE, and Europe.
- Ability to assist with documentation, application procedures, and visa processing.
- Proficiency in research and problem-solving, including identifying and recommending suitable academic programs.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple student profiles and deadlines efficiently.
- Familiarity with advising students on standardized tests, such as IELTS, TOEFL, or SAT, is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in educational counseling, consultancy, or a related role is advantageous.
