Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a UK Counselor based in Kathmandu. The UK Counselor will guide students in selecting study programs, universities, and destinations in the UK. Responsibilities include providing expert advice on application processes, visa requirements, and admission criteria while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of UK education systems and institutional requirements. The role also involves conducting student consultations, supporting documentation preparation, and liaising with educational institutions and other team members.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in student counseling, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of UK education systems, admission processes, and visa regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple student cases simultaneously
- Attention to detail in assisting with accurate documentation and compliance with admission requirements
- Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and educational institutions
- Prior experience as an educational counselor is a plus
- Proficient in English; knowledge of Nepali or other relevant languages is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field is preferred
