Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Counselor specializing in Australia/New Zealand, based in Kathmandu. The Counselor will provide guidance and counseling to students seeking educational opportunities in Australia and New Zealand. Daily responsibilities include assessing students’ academic goals, assisting with applications and visa processes, providing information on available courses and institutions, and maintaining communication with partner universities. The role also requires conducting consultations, resolving student queries, and ensuring a smooth enrollment process.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of student placement processes, university admission requirements, and visa procedures for Australia and New Zealand.
- Exceptional communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills for guiding and mentoring students.
- Familiarity with application processes, academic program selection, and educational document assessments.
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving abilities, alongside attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Prior experience in a similar role in student counseling or education consultancy is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Social Sciences, or a related field is preferred.
