Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Health Assistant/Nurse, Health Care Assistant, or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), based in Kathmandu. Responsibilities include delivering basic health care, administering medications, monitoring patients' health conditions, and providing personal care to individuals in need. The role also involves assisting with medical assessments, maintaining health records, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care for residents.

Qualifications

Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
Knowledge of Allied Health practices and foundational Medicine
Excellent Organization Skills to manage patient records and daily tasks
Ability to work in a team-based environment and a compassionate approach to caregiving
Previous experience in healthcare or social service sectors is preferred
Relevant certifications such as CMA (Certified Medical Assistant) or a degree/diploma in a related health field
Proficiency in local languages and familiarity with community health challenges is an advantage
