Role Description

This is on-site Nurse position located in Kathmandu. The Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, monitoring residents' health, administering medications, and collaborating with doctors and caregivers to ensure residents' needs are met. Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate patient records, offering emotional support to residents, and overseeing daily healthcare routines. The role requires active participation in creating a safe and nurturing environment for elderly individuals.

Qualifications

Proficiency in patient care, health assessments, and administering medications
Experience in monitoring vital signs and maintaining medical records
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Ability to handle emergency situations and provide first aid care
Certification in nursing and valid registration with the relevant governing body
Familiarity with elderly care, particularly Alzheimer’s and dementia care, is an asset
Empathy, patience, and a commitment to improving the well-being of senior citizens
Physical stamina to perform caregiving duties effectively
