Job Description

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Records & Claims Specialist to join our growing team. You will be the backbone of the litigation and insurance process for our US-based clients, specifically targeting Personal Injury Law and Medical Malpractice firms. Your primary responsibility is to bridge the gap between US medical providers, insurance carriers, and law firms by managing the lifecycle of medical records and insurance claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Records Retrieval & Management: Initiate and follow up on requests for medical records, billing statements, and radiology films from US healthcare providers.
  • Medical Billing Review: Audit medical bills for accuracy, ensuring all CPT and ICD-10 codes align with the services rendered.
  • Claims Processing: File and track insurance claims (PIP, Bodily Injury, MedPay) and maintain constant communication with US insurance adjusters.
  • Data Summarization: Review voluminous medical records to create concise chronologies and "demand packages" for legal review.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all documentation complies with HIPAA regulations and US data privacy standards.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Conduct professional outbound calls and emails to US clinics, hospitals, and insurance companies to expedite the document flow.

Qualifications & Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

Experience: 1–3 years of experience in US Healthcare/Legal outsourcing (BPO) is highly preferred.

Communication: Exceptional verbal and written English skills. You must be comfortable speaking with US-based professionals daily.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Case Management Software (e.g., Filevine, Clio, or Litify) and Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge Base: A good understanding of the US Personal Injury lifecycle (LOPs, Liens, and Subrogation) is a massive plus.
