About the Job

Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary:

IMPORTANT: Need more at least 5 year experience in QBO!

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and proficiency in accounting software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and examine financial records, statements, and reports.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Prepare tax returns and ensure timely tax payments.
• Maintain and update fixed asset records.
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Implement and maintain accounting procedures and controls.
• Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience in tax or audit firm.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks.
• Advanced MS Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, etc.).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
