Job Summary

We are seeking Finance Trainees to support daily finance and accounting activities while gaining practical experience in financial operations. The role involves assisting with data entry, basic reporting, reconciliations, and record maintenance, while learning financial procedures, controls, and company policies to build a strong foundation for a career in finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculate monthly upfront and ongoing (trail) commissions accurately
  • Analyze data received from lenders and reconcile it with internal system records
  • Match commission payments with sales data and bank statements to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare commission reports for brokers and sales team members
  • Maintain, organize, and update commission-related data and documents
  • Process approved commission payments in the accounting system
  • Use Microsoft Excel for calculations, data analysis, and reporting
  • Follow internal procedures to ensure data accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance

What We Are Looking For

  • Fresh graduates or trainees with qualifications in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related fields
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, tables,advanced skills are a plus)
  • Willingness to learn accounting systems such as MYOB, XERO, or QuickBooks
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
  • Basic analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team
  • High sense of responsibility and confidentiality
