Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Care Assistant at Welcome Aged Care Home, located in Kathmandu. The Care Assistant will support residents in their daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal assistance, mobility support, and medication management. Responsibilities also include providing care and companionship, ensuring the well-being of individuals with varying needs, including those with dementia and mobility challenges. Maintaining a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for all residents is a key aspect of this role.

Qualifications

Prior caregiving experience (home care, elder care, patient care) preferred
Proficiency in Manual Handling and Caregiving practices
Strong Interpersonal Skills and effective Communication abilities
Experience or knowledge in Palliative Care
Ability to provide compassionate and dignified support to residents
Nursing assistant / CMA / ANM or Relevant certifications or training in caregiving or healthcare is highly desirable
Understanding of hygiene and safety practices
Willingness to work flexible hours
