Key Responsibilities:
1. Graphic Design & Branding
- Visual Assets: Design high-converting graphics for the website, emailers, blogs, and digital ads (Google/Meta).
- Product Illustration: Create infographics, icons, and diagrams that simplify how our School Management System works.
- Sales Enablement: Design professional brochures, case studies, whitepapers, and pitch decks for the sales team.
- Brand Consistency: Maintain and evolve the company’s visual identity across all platforms to ensure brand recognition in the EdTech space.
2. Social Media Management
- Content Calendar: Plan, execute, and maintain a monthly social media calendar across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
- Engagement: Monitor social channels, comments/queries, and foster a community of educators and school admins.
- Trend Tracking: Stay updated with the latest social media trends and education industry news to create timely, relevant posts.
- Reporting: Track basic engagement metrics (reach, clicks, followers) and adjust the strategy based on performance.
3. Multimedia & Content Creation
- Short-form Video: Create basic motion graphics or Reels/TikTok-style videos demonstrating software features or sharing educational tips.
- Copywriting: Craft catchy captions and basic ad copy that aligns with our brand voice.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design (agency or in-house). Experience in B2B or EdTech is a major plus.
- Software Proficiency: Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Familiarity with Figma or Canva (for quick social assets).
- Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects, or CapCut).
- Design Fundamentals: Strong grasp of typography, color theory, and layout—specifically for data-heavy content like ERP dashboards.
- Social Media Savvy: Proven experience managing professional social media accounts with a focus on growth and engagement.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing both clean corporate design and creative social media campaigns.
Soft Skills
- Time Management: Ability to handle multiple projects (e.g., a brochure for sales and a post for LinkedIn) simultaneously.
- Communication: Comfortable explaining design choices to stakeholders and collaborating with product managers.
- Empathy: Ability to design from the perspective of a busy school principal or a non-tech-savvy teacher.
