Summary

Cedar Gate Services is looking for Software QA Engineer 2 to join our team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the quality, accuracy, and performance of our US healthcare IT solutions. As a Software QA Engineer 2, you will engage in both manual and automated testing, analyze business and data requirements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality assurance initiatives and continuous process improvement

Roles & Responsibilities

• Analyze business and data requirements
• Develop automated test scripts using test automation framework and tools
• Execute automated test cases and analyze results
• Write Manual test cases and execute them when needed
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs; collaborate with developers for resolution
• Assist in documenting software and data quality processes, test cases, and outcomes
• Lead automation planning discussions and drive technical decisions.
• Take ownership of automation roadmap and prioritize initiatives.
• Help prepare quality metrics and progress reports for internal stakeholders
• Learn and implement quality assurance best practices, contributing to process improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with team members to enhance software and data quality assurance workflows and procedures
• Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA team members to gain a deep understanding of the product and ensure comprehensive test coverage
  
  

Required Experience / Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ year of relevant experience
• Strong understanding of manual test cases and test scenarios
• Familiarity with version control systems like GIT
• Basic knowledge of RDBMS/SQL
• Knowledge of Katalon, Selenium Grid, and TestNG scripting will be a plus
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional teamwork
• Ability to work effectively in an agile environment
• Basic Knowledge of Core Java will be a plus
  
  

Nice to Have

• Experience in the US healthcare domain and claim payment processes
• Familiarity with industry standards such as HIPAA regulations and healthcare claims processing systems
