Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Big Data Developer located in Kathmandu. The Big Data Developer will be responsible for Data Engineering, Extract Transform Load (ETL), Big Data analytics, data warehousing, and software development tasks on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- Data Engineering, Big Data, and Software Development skills
- Experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing principles
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
Required professional knowledge using tools: Hadoop, Python, Apache Spark, Scala, MySQL, Apache iceberg, Trino, Apache Airflow and Apache Kafka.
