Job Description

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Mid-Level QA with a strong grasp of software development principles, test strategy development, and automation tools. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality digital products. You will play a key role in ensuring that our applications are reliable, secure, and perform seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Analysis: Review and analyze technical and business requirements to identify test conditions and edge cases early.
• Manual & Automated Testing: Perform manual testing while developing automation scripts to validate application functionality and performance.
• Test Case Development: Create well-structured test cases for UI, API, database, and performance testing.
• Automation Framework Maintenance: Build and maintain scalable, reusable, and reliable test automation frameworks using Selenium and JMeter.
• Agile Collaboration: Actively participate in Agile development processes including sprint planning, reviews, and daily stand-ups.
• Defect Reporting: Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools while ensuring timely resolution.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with developers, QA team members, and product managers to improve overall quality and efficiency.
• API Testing: Conduct automated and manual testing of RESTful APIs for functionality, reliability, and security.
• Database Validation: Write and execute SQL queries to verify data integrity and back-end processing.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance testing strategies, tools, and processes for better product quality.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 1 to 2 years of professional experience in QA Automation and Software Testing.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, Python.
• Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver and writing maintainable automation scripts.
• Hands-on experience with API testing, preferably RESTful services.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data formats like JSON and XML.
• Familiarity with Apache JMeter for performance testing.
• Experience with non-GUI application testing and data validation.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools is a plus.
• Knowledge of VPS servers is an added advantage.
