Job Description

Job Responsibilities

  • To regularly carry out the basic office tasks, such as filing, data entry, processing the mail, completing purchase orders.
  • Responsible of processing day to day transactions, issuing checks, and updating ledgers, budgets.
  • To prepare financial documents such as invoices, bills, and accounts payable and receivable as and when required from seniors.
  • Responsible for creating and processing account receivable and payable invoices.
  • To carry out regular reconciliation of banks.
  • To monitor and record transactions and financial events in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company policy.
  • Manage overall payments and verify bills & supporting documents, ledger reconciliation, margin calculation, closing stock verification and comply with approval process for financial transaction as per exiting SOP.
  • Ensure financial discipline by monitoring the daily collection vs deposit to bank and also petty cash reconciliation.
  • Responsible for accurate AR/AP book keeping in the SAP accounting software ensuring the accuracy to actual transactions performed.
  • Perform entry of financial information into appropriate software programs e.g., SAP.
  • Check and verify vouchers of entries made in SAP accounting software.
  • Assist on planning and budgeting, monitor the recording of office expenditures and ensure those expenses are within the set budget and are properly approved, communicate regularly with clients regarding billing and payments and adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, standards and practices.


Job Specifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 3 to 4 years of experience in Accounting.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective communication and follow-up abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong coordination and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant Nepal government laws and regulations.
