POSITION TITLE :
Regional Business Manager
DIVISION/ DEPARTMENT :

ACCOUNTABLE TO:
International Business Manager
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. To manage and continue develop the overall performance with the assigned region with geographical expansion and future product portfolios.
2. Maximizing sales within agreed expense budgets, meeting agreed organizational objectives, through effective leadership of Sales, marketing and optimal management of resources.
BASIC FUNCTION
1. Achieve Sales objectives in line with the regional financial objective
2. Management of training and marketing requirements of the country/region distribution team
3. Developing assigned region by appointing new partners
4. Demonstrates good understanding of Regulatory requirements and also have a good understanding of country, region and local dynamics.
5. To ensure marketing resources are used in an optimal manner and the Business Unit should not exceed agreed expenditure budget.
6. To devise long term strategies for Medsource Ozone Biomedical Pvt.Ltd., product portfolio and fit of organization with market/customer requirements.
7. To oversee the effective implementation of the marketing plan in relation to key marketing programs critical to the success of products
8. To ensure plans/strategies accommodate changes taking place in the market as well as customer needs.
9. Negotiates regional targets with representatives.
10. Provides accurate reports in a timely fashion as requested by the Reporting Manager
11. Co-ordinates response to official customer tenders
12. Ensures a balanced product mix in the achievement of budgets
13. Builds relationships with key customers
14. Be a key driver in delivery of country sales, strategic, financial and organizational goals
15. Delivery of sales and organization objectives through effective marketing and sales techniques
MEASUREMENT OF PERFORMANCE
1. Achievement of Sales and marketing objectives for All Product Groups.
2. Achievement of sales targets as per agreed terms
3. High level of motivation and direction of sales team
4. Effectiveness of working in a team environment
5. Conformance to mission statement
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED
1. Science graduate will be preferred
2. A post graduate Management qualification preferred
3. 10+ years, experience in the field of Clinical Diagnostics
4. Proven track record in Sales and management
5. Good understanding of country, region and local dynamics, including regulatory and market environment.
6. Understanding of product launch and product commercialization process.
7. Extensive sales representative/Sales & Marketing management, essentially international; experience ( to gain clinical trail management)
8. Project Management and analytical skills.
