Production and Admin Trainee
Location: Jorpati, Kathmandu
Salary: This role starts at NPR 17,500/month, with performance reviews and growth opportunities.
What This Job Is:
This is a full-time, entry-level role inside a manufacturing company. You’ll work with the production team to help track, report, and keep things moving. It’s a mix of office tasks, follow-ups, and daily routines — ideal if you’re disciplined, focused, and want to learn how real operations work.
This role involves both office-based tasks and hands-on work in the production area. You’ll be up and about, coordinating with teams and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
You’ll Learn:
This dynamic role offers a hands-on introduction to how a global manufacturing and export business runs behind the scenes. As part of your day-to-day work, you’ll build real skills in:
- Understanding end-to-end production workflows
- Managing inventory and raw material processes with accuracy and ownership
- Reading and using operational data to support decision-making
- Coordinating with suppliers, artisans, and internal teams to solve real-world issues
- Supporting internal quality control and identifying areas for process improvement
- Navigating deadlines, shifting priorities, and real teamwork under pressure
- Building professional discipline, communication, and time management habits
- Using structured systems and reporting tools to track progress and spot problems

What You'll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
You'll be a core part of the production operations team, supporting daily activities and ensuring things run smoothly. Your work will involve a mix of coordination, record-keeping, communication, and problem-solving.
Production Support
- Support the production team across all stages — from raw materials to finished products — to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.
- Record and update production data regularly, both manually and digitally.
- Help prepare materials and ensure all necessary inputs are available on time.
- Follow up with third-party suppliers or stakeholders when needed to keep everything on track.
- Support basic quality control processes and report non-compliance issues when noticed.
Inventory, Records & Coordination
- Assist with managing inventory and keeping accurate records for usage, returns, and production-related materials.
- Help maintain systems for tracking inventory and identifying potential inefficiencies.
- Coordinate with different internal teams to make sure information flows smoothly and tasks are completed on time.
General Support
- Prioritize and manage daily tasks with discipline and reliability.
- Provide administrative support to the directors and department heads by handling tasks such as reporting, filing, and following up on production-related actions.
- Be ready to step in where needed to keep operations moving.
What We Expect:
- Bachelor’s running or completed.
- Basic English comprehension (reading/writing)
- Comfortable with Google Sheets/Excel
- Lives within reasonable distance to Jorpati
- Reliable, focused, and task-oriented
- Willing to learn and take feedback seriously
Schedule + Perks:
- Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
