Incessant Rain Studios is a state-of-the-art animation studio based in Kathmandu. We specialize in developing and producing digital animated properties for various distribution needs worldwide. Our production services include conceptual designs, storyboarding, character designs, animation, VFX, lighting, and post-production.


Position Overview:

The Production Coordinator at Incessant Rain Pvt Ltd (IR) plays a pivotal support role in ensuring the smooth flow of the production pipeline. Working closely with Production Managers, Project Supervisors, and department Leads, the Production Coordinator helps drive projects to completion on time, within budget, and at the highest quality standards. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to multitask and solve problems efficiently. The Production Coordinator will also liaise with HR and Operations teams to address administrative needs, resource management, and team coordination across various production stages.


Duties and Responsibilities:

Project Management:

  • Scheduling: Ensure all projects are scheduled effectively and that resources are properly allocated to meet deadlines.
  • Budget Management: Monitor the project budget, ensuring compliance with set financial goals. Communicate any discrepancies with the Head of Production.
  • Quota Management: Track and manage team quotas, ensuring that project deliverables are met, and productivity is achieved.
  • Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation by working with various teams to ensure maximum productivity.

Planning & Coordination:

  • Assist in Planning: Support Production Managers in the strategic planning of project timelines and team needs.
  • Adaptability: Plan for changes in the project dynamics and team requirements to ensure smooth transitions and deadlines.
  • Project Preparation: Stay informed on upcoming projects and work proactively with the team to prepare for their successful execution.
  • Training Coordination: Work with the Training Department to address any skill gaps or training needs.

People & Administrative Management:

  • Leave Management: Oversee the leave requests of the team, ensuring adequate notice and coverage for absentees.
  • Administrative Compliance: Ensure all team members adhere to company policies and administrative processes, such as logging work hours and submitting required documentation.
  • Time Management: Ensure accurate tracking and reporting of time spent on projects by all team members.

Reporting & Analysis:

  • Report Generation: Ensure all reports (daily, weekly) are submitted on time and include accurate data regarding project progress and team performance.
  • Feedback: Analyze reports and provide constructive feedback to team members and management on performance, progress, and areas for improvement.

Team Coordination:

  • Team Support: Assist in managing team dynamics by providing support to supervisors, resolving issues, and promoting a positive working environment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, addressing concerns and fostering collaboration between departments.
  • Communication with Leadership: Regularly update the Production Manger and co-CEO, Deepa Joshi, on project statuses and any issues that may affect timelines or quality.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, or related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in project coordination or production management.
