Job Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

An IS Audit Officer will assist the team with the planning and administration of IS Audit assignments, enabling completion to a high standard within agreed timetable and is motivated to perform and committed to effective client service and the quality of work meets the company’s ethical and professional standards. Furthermore, should supports organizational success. Some of the responsibilities you will handling are as follows:

  • Assist in preparing policies (IT Security, Information Security) and Standard Operating Procedures defining the project engagement via presentation, planning, meeting, interview, closure, follow-up and various situational instances.
  • Assist in IS audit planning procedures, including IS audit tests using the company’s information systems audit methodology ensuring that key matters not identified at the planning stage that are brought to attention of the client management team and assists with the assessment.
  • Assist Head IS Auditor for conducting the audit assessment.
  • Take responsibility of the assigned tasks as part of audit assessment as prepared by the
  • senior or lead auditor.
  • Assist in research of the several requirements in the field of Governance, Risk and
  • Compliance as per the need of the business environment of the clients and the project.
  • Conduct and regulate meetings (online and onsite) of the audit assessment.
  • Responsible for timely audit project completion.
  • Ability to develop an understanding of the role and function of audit for a large range of
  • different entities, in particular financial service clients and an understanding of audit techniques including planning, interviewing, documentation, testing, conclusions and reporting.
  • Responsive to cybersecurity incidents.
  • Prepare, customize IS Audit reports based on projects.
  • Work closely with other members of the auditing team, including senior auditor, external
  • auditor and consultants.


Required Skills:

  • Proven experience of Information Systems Audit
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of Information system auditing procedures.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Project planning and time management skill.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Has good communication, interpersonal, planning and organizing skills.
  • Able to display initiative and lateral thinking coupled with the ability to solve simple
  • problems and displays an analytical thinking ability.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors in related field of cyber security or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 year's related experience required.
  • ISO certification preferred.
