Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Manager to join our team at SCC. As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies that align with our clients’ brand goals. You will manage content creation, community engagement, and performance analysis to drive growth, engagement, and brand awareness across various platforms. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Manager located in Kathmandu.


Work Hours: 10 AM - 6 PM, Sunday to Friday


Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging and high-quality content (text, images, videos) for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, TikTok, and YouTube .
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to optimize campaigns and improve performance.
  • Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the creative and marketing teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging social media tools to enhance strategies.
  • Conduct competitive analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.


Qualifications:


  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of major social media platforms and their algorithms.
  • Proficiency in creating and scheduling content using tools like Hootsuite, Buffer, or Sprout Social .
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Photoshop) and basic video editing skills is a plus.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with a knack for storytelling.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to improve campaigns.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple accounts and deadlines.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field .
  • Prior experience managing paid social media campaigns (e.g., Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
  • Knowledge of AI-driven tools for content creation and analytics is a plus.
