JD - Business Development Manager (BDM) - EDtech Sales
1. Recruitment Partner Identification and Recruitment:
o The BDM is responsible for identifying and recruiting new Recruitment Partners
(RPs), such as agents and other channel partners.
o This includes conducting quality reviews of applications from potential RPs,
performing reference checks, and documenting the approval process to ensure
high-quality partnerships.
2. Active Engagement and Management of RPs:
o The BDM will actively engage and manage existing RPs, ensuring they are well-
trained and have the necessary tools to succeed.
o This includes conducting regular training sessions, overseeing marketing efforts,
and reviewing the pipeline of prospective students to ensure the partners are
effectively driving student enrollment into the Global Student Program (GSP).
3. RP Support and Counselling:
o The BDM will support RPs in student counselling and reviewing applications,
ensuring they meet quality standards. This involves helping agents understand
student needs and ensuring that the application process is smooth and efficient.
4. Market Intelligence and Product Positioning:
o The BDM will gather and analyze market intelligence, including trends and
competitor actions, to refine product and service offerings.
o They will also be responsible for positioning the product effectively to maintain
RP engagement and sustain a steady flow of students through the GSP.
Overall, the BDM will play a pivotal role in managing and growing relationships with Recruitment
Partners, ensuring their success, and driving student enrollment by supporting and enhancing
the GSP pipeline.
