Job Description
Main Responsibilities:

Assist in ensuring the security of Lively Software's systems, networks, and applications by supporting the team in protecting sensitive data and implementing solutions to prevent, detect, and respond to security incidents.

Key Tasks:Software and System Security Management:
  • Assist in vulnerability analysis and resolution (e.g., SQL Injection testing).
  • Support the implementation of secure authentication mechanisms (login modules, password security).
  • Contribute to securing infrastructures and access points (e.g., Endpoint and Infra Security).
Documentation and Technical Research:
  • Help in drafting Statements of Work (SOW) and technical security documentation.
  • Conduct research on best practices and innovative security solutions for software and network protection.
Project Support and Implementation:
  • Assist in deploying security solutions in pre-production and production environments.
  • Participate in functional and security testing to validate implementations.
  • Support ongoing projects such as backup system integration, system updates, and secure migrations.
Network Security and Monitoring:
  • Help configure and centralize security monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, ELK Stack).
  • Assist in network audits and security policy implementation.
Incident Management and Security Audits:
  • Monitor security incidents and help troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
  • Support the reinforcement of network security during migrations or system upgrades.
Required Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of systems and network security.
  • Familiarity with security tools such as Cylance EPP/EDR, Nagios, Prometheus, or backup platforms is a plus.
  • Strong technical curiosity and willingness to learn about security best practices.
  • Ability to document processes and assist in technical writing (SOW, reports, action plans, etc.).
  • Good problem-solving skills and team collaboration.
Education and Experience:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Previous academic projects or personal experience in IT security are a plus.
