Job Description
Our client, a beverage distribution company, is seeking a highly capable Manager to oversee its operations. The role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and operational efficiency to ensure business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and productivity.
- Independently make critical business decisions to drive company growth.
- Manage a total of 22 staff, with direct supervision of 4-5 employees regularly.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and liquor trade laws.
- Coordinate with suppliers, and retailers to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Monitor, manage & forecast inventory, procurement, logistics, and budgeting to prevent stock shortages or overages.
- Handle distributor relationships and business negotiations.
- Maintain financial records, analyze business reports, and provide insights to senior management.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide necessary training to the team.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in management, preferably in distribution, sales, or supply chain operations of the beverages/ liquor industry.
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of liquor trade policies, distribution management, and vendor coordination.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and inventory management systems.
