Position: Technical Writer (available for both Full timer and Part time work candidates)
Job Type: Hybrid (Work from home and from office as needed)
Expected Work Hours: For Full Time (40 hours/5 days per week) and Part Timer (20 hours per week)
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. Both Full-Time and Part-Time candidates are encouraged to apply. This position will primarily involve creating clear and concise How-To Documents and producing How-To Videos for various technical processes. You will be working closely with our development and product teams to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand materials for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write comprehensive How-To Guides and Technical Documentation for software products.
- Create step-by-step instructions for users, ensuring clarity and simplicity.
- Develop engaging and informative How-To Videos to complement written documentation.
- Collaborate with technical teams to gather and validate technical information.
- Edit and proofread documents and videos for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Organize content in a user-friendly manner for both written and video formats.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, ideally in the software or technology industry.
- Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
- Experience in creating How-To Documentation and Tutorial Videos.
- Proficient in video creation tools (any) and documentation tools (e.g. Google Docs, JIRA Confluence).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver content on time.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a part-time capacity.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
