Job Description

Fashion Designer

Managing design process from conception through to final styling and ensuring Quality Control.

Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.

Collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts.

•Ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy.

•Selecting fabrics and trims.

•Creating production sketches for development packages.

•Collaborating with Master Tailor and other tailor for production of approved samples designer to ensure development packages are accurate.

•Reviewing products for style and fit during presentation.

•Presenting story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers.

•Procurement of essential fabrics and other materials in coordination with procurement officer


Production Management

•Manage the workflow of both Danfe Retail and Danfe Merchandise production

•Lead the periodic (daily/weekly) production team meeting with both In House and Outsourcing companies.

•Communicate regularly with all production team (both Inhouse and outsourcing companies) to provide regular updates during production

•Maintain relationship with production team (both inhouse and outsourcing companies)

•Organize periodic inspection during the production process.


Marketing

•Explore and build International Clients

•Generating new Business leads

•Promoting our brand at trade shows and major industry-related events

•Developing Marketing Strategies aligning with Enterprise's vision


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a similar role within the fashion or apparel industry.


Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of fashion production processes and techniques.
  • Proficiency in managing production timelines and budgets.
  • Ability to collaborate with design and production teams.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software/tools.
