Open Position: Accounts Trainee/ Associate
Job Responsibilities
Tax-Related Duties:
- Accurately enter tax-related information into tax software or spreadsheets.
- Verify the accuracy of tax data by cross-checking against supporting documentation.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining tax records, including tax returns, forms, and schedules.
- Support the preparation of tax returns for individuals, corporations, and other clients.
- Assist in gathering tax-related documents from clients.
- Manage the monthly VAT filing process for clients.
- Aid in researching tax regulations, laws, and updates to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the tax team to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
- Assist in responding to inquiries from tax authorities and provide necessary documentation.
Finance-Related Duties:
- Assist the Finance Manager and Finance Associate with proper documentation and data recording.
- Help prepare and maintain financial records, including journal entries and general ledger accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and investigate any discrepancies.
- Help with budget preparation and monitoring.
- Assist in audits and the preparation of tax returns.
- Provide general support to the accounting team.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in management, Accounts, and other related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Accounting Tools or software packages
- Basic knowledge of financial and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Proactive and self-motivated.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
