About Lumbini Ceramics:

Lumbini Ceramics Limited is a premium manufacturer of tiles with the mission of being the most preferred Brand in Nepal as a quality focused solution provider for architects and consumers alike. Lumbini Ceramics is setting up Nepal’s first and only GVT tiles plant and a Ceramic Wall tiles plant with a combined capacity of 8.2 million Sqm or 9 crores sqft. of combined production capacity. This plant will be the highest investment in this industry of its kind and will create direct employment to 400 people and 150 people indirectly.


Job Summary: The Factory Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the factory, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and collaborating with various teams to support the factory's overall business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Operations Management:

  • Oversee all financial operations of the factory, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate recording of daily production data, including quantities produced, raw materials used, and labor hours, to maintain up-to-date financial records.

Collaboration and Verification:

  • Collaborate with the production team to verify the accuracy of production entries and address any discrepancies.

Closing Processes:

  • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes for the factory.

Expense Monitoring:

  • Monitor and control factory expenses to optimize cost efficiency.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal control procedures.
  • Develop and maintain standard costing systems for the factory.

Variance Analysis:

  • Conduct variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Inventory Management:

  • Monitor and report on inventory levels, including raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Implement and oversee inventory control procedures.

Policy and Regulatory Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with corporate financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring timely and accurate submission of required documentation.

Internal Controls:

  • Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the factory accounting team.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support overall business objectives.

Financial Reporting:

  • Provide detailed financial reports and analysis to the CFO, aiding in strategic decision-making at the corporate level.


Qualifications:


1. Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or Semi-Qualified CA/ACCA.

2. 5+ years of accounting experience in the manufacturing industry.

3. Expertise in financial management, cost accounting, and analysis.

4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

7. Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
