Job Description
Tokha Urban Farm offers authentic Continental cuisine using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, emphasizing a farm-to-table experience.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating Operations:
- Manage both Front of the House (customer-facing) and Back of the House (kitchen) operations.
- Organize and supervise shifts, ensuring smooth service delivery.
- Regularly review product quality and explore new vendors.
Customer Satisfaction:
- Deliver superior service to maximize customer satisfaction.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
Staff Management:
- Hire and train staff following company policies.
- Appraise staff performance and provide feedback.
- Oversee food preparation and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Financial Goals:
- Maintain revenue, profitability, and quality targets.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to reduce waste.
- Leadership: Lead by example, especially during busy moments.
- Uphold the restaurant’s good image and suggest improvements.
Key Skills Required:
- Effective communication with staff, suppliers, owners, and customers.
- Relay accurate information to subordinates.
- Build healthy relationships with kitchen staff, waiters, front-of-house teams, suppliers.
- Manage professional interactions.
- Check on customers during dining service.
- Address questions and resolve customer-related issues.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in related fields, with additional experience in catering management being advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management or a related management field.
