Job Description
MB Meditech Pvt. Ltd., Nepal’s leading distributor of high-end medical diagnostic equipment, is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Biomedical Engineer (Service) to join our technical excellence team. This role is meant for a technical leader with a strong background in installation, configuration, maintenance, and service of advanced radiological systems across Nepal. The ideal candidate should be passionate about precision, reliability, and delivering excellence in healthcare technology service
- Lead the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of radiology and imaging equipment such as Ultrasound (USG), C-Arm, X-Ray, etc.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, calibration, and technical audits.
- Supervise junior service engineers and provide technical training to internal teams and clients.
- Troubleshoot field issues promptly, ensuring minimum downtime.
- Coordinate with OEM sand international support teams for critical installations or escalated cases.
- Document service records and comply with regulatory safety protocols and quality standards.
- Provide pre-sale technical support in equipment evaluation and demo stages.
Job Specification
- Minimum 5years of hands-on experience servicing high-end radiology equipment.
- Deep technical understanding of imaging modalities: USG, C-Arm, X-Ray.
- Prior experience in installation, testing, calibration, and safety verification of hospital diagnostic machines.
- Strong trouble shooting and decision-making ability under pressure.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or relevant technical field.
- OEM or manufacturer-level training certifications will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to travel across Nepal.
