Barista

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 1 to  2 years of relevant experience in a café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment, with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and beverage service. The candidate should also have practical knowledge of cocktail and mocktail preparation and a strong commitment to quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee, espresso-based beverages, cocktails, mocktails, smoothies, and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain espresso machines, coffee grinders, blenders, and other beverage preparation equipment.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, portioning, and beverage quality.
• Take customer orders accurately and provide prompt, courteous, and professional service.
• Understand customer preferences and provide appropriate beverage recommendations.
• Prepare and present beverages creatively while maintaining the required presentation standards.
• Maintain proper cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of the bar, equipment, counters, and workstations.
• Monitor beverage inventory and coordinate with the concerned team for timely replenishment of ingredients and supplies.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of coffee beans, syrups, fruits, dairy products, and other beverage ingredients.
• Handle customer feedback and concerns professionally and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Coordinate effectively with the kitchen, service, and management teams for smooth daily operations.

• 1 to 2 years of proven experience as a Barista or in a similar beverage service role.
• Strong practical knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso-based beverages, cocktails, and mocktails.
• Good understanding of coffee brewing methods, coffee beans, beverage ingredients, and presentation techniques.
• Hands-on experience operating espresso machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain consistency in beverage quality and presentation.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Creative, energetic, detail-oriented, and customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
