Barista

We are seeking a skilled, enthusiastic, and customer-oriented Barista to prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and other refreshments while ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of coffee preparation techniques, knowledge of different beverages, and the ability to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, latte, americano, and other specialty drinks.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other beverage preparation equipment.
• Take customer orders, respond to inquiries, and provide recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and serving standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee station, equipment, and service area.
• Monitor coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies and inform management when replenishment is required.
• Handle customer payments and operate the billing system when required.
• Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and beverage preparation standards.
• Coordinate with other service staff to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure a pleasant customer experience through friendly and efficient service.

• Minimum SEE / +2 qualification; higher education will be an advantage.
• Prior experience as a Barista or in a coffee shop, restaurant, or hospitality environment will be preferred.
• Knowledge of espresso-based beverages and basic coffee preparation techniques.
• Familiarity with coffee machines, grinders, and other beverage preparation equipment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
• Strong teamwork, time-management, and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, professional appearance, and willingness to learn.
