Job Description
We are looking for a friendly, creative, and caring Chef who loves being around children and has a passion for preparing delicious, healthy meals. The ideal candidate will be able to cook tasty food that appeals to young children, teachers, and staff, while maintaining the highest hygiene and safety standards.
- Prepare nutritious and kid-friendly meals daily
- Plan menus that are balanced, appealing, and suitable for children’s dietary needs
- Interact positively with children and staff in a warm, approachable manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and allergy awareness
- Occasionally involve kids in safe, fun cooking activities (optional but a plus!)
Job Specification
- Previous experience as a chef in a school or child-friendly environment preferred
- Knowledge of child nutrition and healthy cooking
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Ability to adapt meals for dietary restrictions or allergies
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
- School Timing: 8:40-4:30
