Job Description

Kinmel Mart is seeking a responsible and organized Storekeeper to manage inventory operations and ensure the smooth handling of goods within the store. The ideal candidate will oversee stock movement, maintain accurate inventory records, and coordinate with purchasing and sales teams to ensure product availability and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods and materials.
Ensure all products are properly labeled, stored, and organized.
Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems regularly.
Monitor stock levels and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
Issue goods to different departments as per request and maintain proper documentation.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist in monthly or annual inventory audits.
Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse staff, and accounts department for smooth operations.
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and orderliness of the store area.
Follow company policies regarding product handling, returns, and storage.

Job Specification

Minimum Education: +2 or Diploma in Management, Business, or related field.
Proven experience as a Storekeeper, Inventory Clerk, or similar role (retail or supermarket experience preferred).
Strong understanding of inventory management principles.
Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory software (knowledge of POS systems is an advantage).
Attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift and move items safely as required.
