Job Description

Kinmel Mart is looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, maintain financial records, and ensure accuracy in all financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

Record and maintain all financial transactions in accounting software.
Prepare and manage daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
Handle accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
Manage petty cash, inventory-related accounting, and vendor payments.
Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and other departments as needed.
Support management with financial analysis and recommendations for cost efficiency.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.

Job Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role (preferably in the retail or trading sector).
Sound knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, or similar).
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
