Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional to support a wide range of financial and accounting operations. The role involves preparing financial reports, conducting analyses, assisting in budgeting and forecasting, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. The candidate will also support annual audits, address discrepancies, prepare various tax returns, and contribute to improving accounting systems and procedures. Additionally, the role includes performing routine accounting tasks and providing assistance to junior team members as needed.
Job Description
- Coordinate and oversee various accounting functions and programs.
- Prepare financial analyses, statements, and periodic reports.
- Develop revenue projections and assist in expenditure forecasting.
- Assist with budget preparation and ongoing budget monitoring.
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and general ledger entries.
- Support preparations for annual audits.
- Investigate and resolve audit issues, account discrepancies, and non-compliance matters.
- Prepare federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
- Contribute to the enhancement and development of accounting systems, procedures, and programs.
- Perform additional accounting duties and provide support to junior staff as assigned.
