Job Description
The Sales Officer will be responsible for promoting, selling, and distributing Rexine (synthetic leather) products to manufacturers, retailers, corporates and distributors. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, developing strong customer relationships, and expanding market share in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new customers in furniture, automobile seat covers, footwear, bags, and other Rexine-using industries.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets in the assigned region.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with existing customers, ensuring repeat business.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.
- Provide product presentations, samples, and technical details to clients.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with customers.
- Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and feedback to management.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade fairs, and promotional campaigns for Rexine products.
- Ensure collection of payments from customers as per company policy.
Job Specification
- Intermediate level with 2-3 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (preferred) with minimum 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in Rexine, textiles, fabrics, PVC, Cement, paints,upholstery, or related materials.
- Strong network with dealers, distributors, and manufacturers in relevant industries.
- Good negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets under pressure.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
