Job Description
Tender Analysis: Collaborate with the Tender Sales Manager to analyze and assess tender documents, specifications, and requirements. Ensure a comprehensive understanding of customer needs and expectations.
Bid Preparation: Assist in the preparation of well-structured and competitive tender proposals. Ensure compliance with all technical, commercial, and legal aspects of the bids.
Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential tenders, opportunities, and market trends within the heavy equipment industry.
Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and clients involved in the tender process.
Collaborative Efforts: Work closely with the sales and business development teams to align tender strategies with the company's objectives and market positioning.
Pricing Strategies: Support in the development of pricing strategies that balance competitiveness and profitability, while meeting the company's financial goals.
Negotiation: Collaborate in negotiations with clients to secure contracts and favorable terms.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all tender submissions, contracts, and correspondence.
Compliance: Ensure that all tender submissions and proposals adhere to relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
Job Specification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience in tender sales and business development, with a focus on heavy equipment sales.
- Strong understanding of the tendering process and regulations specific to the heavy equipment division.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and tender management software is an advantage.
