Job Overview:
System Engineer will be responsible for Installs, configure and tests operating system, application syste, and system management tools. . Ensures the highest level of systems and infrastructure availability. Implements warranty and support activities.
- Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
- Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies.
- Participate in the design of information and operational support systems.
- Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems, application software and system management tools.
- Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

Job Specification
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree in Computer related studies
- 1 year of experience in related field
Key Skills/ Knowledge
- Experience automating repetitive operational tasks
- Basic knowledge with Continuous Integration and Deployment practices in production systems
- Basic knowledge with some of our basis technologies: Kubernetes, docker, Jenkins,Gitlab.
- Experience with Linux and windows and its command.
- Basic knowledge on supporting highly available systems running in php.
- Basic knowledge in email servers, cpanel, DNS
- Knowledge on web servers and load balancer like Nginx, Apache, Haproxy etc
- Basic knowledge in DBMS itself, e.g. MySQL
