Job Description
  • Visit the client premises to understand the scope of work related to Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) and estimate the cost to prepare competitive quotation.
  • Prepare pre-operational checklist to identify the hazards such as Working at Height, Electricity, Confined space, Slip-Trip-Fall, Moving Objects, Manual Handling, etc.
  • Carry out risk assessment of the client’s premises to ensure the identified hazards are eliminated or isolated or reduced.
  • Prioritize the safety briefing related to the job, tools, equipment, chemicals and site hazards.
  • Ensure that the committed MEP service is delivered to the client’s premises within allocated time-frame.
  • Supervise all MEP staff focusing on their performance in terms of standards of safe work and their behaviour whilst on duty.
  • At fixed intervals, thoroughly inspect the MEP tools and equipment to ensure all are in operational condition.
  • Receive and complete work orders to include; records concerning time, labour and materials for each task.
  • Respond to emergency situations during and after hours for to resolve the emergency requirements.
  • Require flexibility and understanding that all MEP staff may be required to perform duties outside their normal area of expertise to complete the job as committed.
  • Prepare daily job-progress and inventory report and submit to the concerned authority.
  • Periodically, review the work schedules of the MEP staff.
  • Proactively, order the required MEP consumables, tools and equipment appropriately.
  • Ensuring all staff are aware of the Health and Safety policies and procedures
  • Efficiently handle the MEP Staff’s complaints and take appropriate actions immediately.
  • Effectively handle the clients’ complaints or escalate the matter to higher authorities for prompt remedial actions.
  • Coordinate with the accounts department to timely submit the invoice and collect the payment.
  • Other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
