About Us

Cogent Health Pvt Ltd is over a decade old company working in field of Health Informatics. It specializes in EHR (Electronic Health Record), CDSS (Clinical decision support system), research methods and health system integration to financial technology. In Cogent Health we study medical workflow, understand the causes of health problems and develop digital methods to mitigate those problems. Cogent Health has developed SISH (Software for Integrated Services in Hospital), a popular EHR with inbuilt modules of CDSS, CPOE(Computerized Physician Order Entry) and data mining. Cogent Health installed its first CDSS modules in 2008 in United Mission Hospital, Palpa. Today SISH has been implemented in over two dozen locations including some of the prestigious institutions like Patan Academy of Health Sciences, Paropkar Maternity & Women Hospital and Nepal Police Hospital.

Job Description

Corporate Title: Officer – O1

Department: Sales and Business Development
Reports To: Managing Director

Job Overview:
Sales Officer is responsible to execute the work with health companies and determine the best strategies to increase business.

  • Should be in regular touch with Customer, via visit, phone or email
  • Participate and represent company in various platform like seminar, meeting and conference
  • Maintain and update regular database of customer and clientele
  • Follow government agency annual planning and programs for fiscal year
  • Lobby for digitization of health sector in Nepal
  • Find out customer satisfaction and give feedback to respective department
  • Help other department to priorities work and development & implementation pipeline
  • Participate in new product concept and new project of office and give business related opinion
  • To have presence in all Provincial health mechanism of Nepal
  • To participate and represent program and seminar organize by Health Directorate
  • To meet Provincial official in their office and invite them in corporate office
  • Develop business strategy of the company
  • Competitor analysis and mapping
  • Calculate overall business share of the market
  • Track product concept and strategies of competitor and industry
  • Lead generate and conversion
  • Target based achievement
  • Handling multiple projects simultaneously
  • Close work with operations and finance departments for tender documentation

Job Specification

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT background
  • Health care software sales experience preferred
  • 1 year above experience

  • Excellent in excel and office package
