Job Description
  • The Program Coordinator - SRMH and GBV is responsible for leading, managing and advising on work CARE Nepal does in the fields of Sexual Reproductive and Maternal Health as well as Gender-Based Violence (with a focus on Violence Against Women and Girls).
  • The role includes providing technical input on issues pertaining to the right to health, bodily integrity and a life free from violence.
  • Technical areas of expertise required for the role include both SRMH (in particular promoting safe motherhood and family planning among marginalized women and adolescent girls, supporting health policy development) and GBV/VAWG (engaging men and boys to tackle violence, changing social norms on gender, supporting and advocating for access to justice).
Job Specification
  • Experience of working on good governance issues in both the health and justice/GBV sectors is also required.
