Job Description
  • Knowledge on national and international laws and policies relating to Right to Food, Food Sovereignty, Livelihood and Natural Resources and Agricultural Development Policy and Strategy.
  • Excellent skills in written and spoken English and Nepali including the ability and experience to compose, edit, analyse and report using complex information.
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, communication, negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including navigating email, internet and MS WORD, Excel,  and PowerPoint.
Job Specification
  • Lead the Livelihood and Natural Resources related objective of AAIN and ensure effective Food, Livelihood and Natural Resources programmes management.

  • Build capacity of relevant AAIN, PNGO staffs and networks on issues relating to Food, Livelihood and Natural Resources.

  • Ensure effective network/ linkage with existing partners, alliances, key actors engaged in Right to Food, Livelihood and Natural Resources at national and international levels.

  • Monitor & evaluate work relating to Food, Livelihood and Natural Resources.

  • Contribute to overall Knowledge, Policy and Governance department to develop and implement strategies and policies.

  • Take Corporate Responsibilities.
