About Us

Samari Utthan Sewa (SUS) is a non-government, not-for-profit social development organization. It was established in 2008 by a group of committed youths from the Dalit communities. SUS has been working with Dalit, poor, landless, vulnerable, and other socially excluded segment of the society focusing on their basic needs and improving livelihoods, while also contributing to the process of empowering them to raise their voices for the cause of human rights, particularly for Dalit and women human rights.

SUS calls for an Expression of Interest (EOI) with a detailed proposal and budget breakdown to provide consultancy service for developing a five-year strategic plan 2023-2027 which sets the long-term direction to achieve its mission, vision, and goal. The detailed assignment is mentioned in the Terms of Reference (TOR).

  • Bachelor in Agriculture or Equivalent
  • At least 2 years work experience in the agriculture related livelihood projects.

Job Specification

  • Substantial knowledge regarding the program management on field level.
  • Substantial knowledge of standard logistics procedures and practices required
  • Good understanding of financial and HR procedures required
  • Excellent communication and representative skills (written, oral, cross-cultural)
  • Ability to multitask and deal with stressful situations.
  • Ability to adapt to the working environment.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
