Job Description
We are delighted to announce our new restaurant concept - RAI, a modern Japanese high-end restaurant in the heart of Central London. We are now looking for a highly skilled Sushi chef who has previous experience working in a busy, fast paced and high-end Japanese Restaurant who wants to join our team.
- Preparing traditional Japanese sushi rice, chopping, slicing, and filleting various kinds of fish, and placing orders for supplies as needed.
- Expertly cutting, slicing, and filleting different types of fish.
- Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety.
- Regularly taking inventory of food supplies and other products.
Job Specification
- Must have at-least 3 years experience as sushi and can make high quality nigiri, sashimi, and hot dishes.
- Sound knowledge of food safety regulations.
- The ability to work under pressure.
