Job Description
The Sales Officer will be responsible for achieving sales targets, building customer relationships, and expanding market reach. The role involves daily field visits, order collection, customer follow-ups, and coordination with the internal team to ensure smooth delivery and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential customers and generate new sales leads
- Visit retail shops, dealers, and distribution points to promote products
- Collect and process customer orders
- Maintain good relationships with existing clients and ensure repeat business
- Follow up on payments and manage credit cycles as required
- Report daily sales activities and market feedback to the supervisor
- Coordinate with the delivery/logistics team to ensure timely supply
- Assist in local promotional and branding activities
Job Specification
Minimum Experience: 1 year in field sales (preferably in FMCG, beverage, or water industry)
Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred (or +2 with relevant experience)
Required Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Field sales and customer handling experience
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- Smart personality with persuasive skills
- Knowledge of local market and areas
Other Requirements:
- Two-wheeler with a valid driving license (preferred)
